St. Charles paid tribute to veterans and Irish heritage Saturday as thousands lined Main Street in the city's downtown for its annual St. Patrick's Day parade.
Among the dozens of entries were cheerful leprechauns, local marching bands, plenty of colorful floats, walking units of veterans and Celtic pipe bands.
