Lincolnshire trustees to debate public works staffing change

The Lincolnshire village board will meet Monday night to discuss a proposed organizational change within the public works department. That debate will occur during a committee-of-the-whole session scheduled to follow the regular board meeting at 7 p.m. at village hall, 1 Olde Half Day Road. Officials are proposing turning a vacant administrative assistant job into a management analyst post that will have an expanded role in the department. The previous administrative assistant recently retired, according to village documents.
