Elmhurst man to compete on 'Jeopardy!'

A software engineer from Elmhurst will appear on the quiz show "Jeopardy!" Friday.

"I've always really liked trivia," Mark Ashton said, "I decided to give it a shot."

Ashton, 40, had his in-person audition last August and filmed his episode in early December.

This Friday, viewers can see Ashton compete against Megan Durazo, a librarian from California, and the returning champion from today's episode.

The show will air locally at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
