Missing Arlington Heights man found
An Arlington Heights man reported missing since Friday has been located, police said Tuesday morning.
Arlington Heights Detective Sgt. Chuck Buczynski said Tuesday that 65-year-old Robert Wood had turned up alive and well at a Chicago police station on Tuesday.
"It turns out he and his caretaker went on a trip," Buczynski said. "I didn't ask where they went."
Buczynski said Wood was physically and mentally fine.
A neighbor reported Wood missing, having not seen him since Friday, March 2.
Wood was scheduled to appear in Cook County court Tuesday on a misdemeanor criminal charge. Information was not immediately available as to whether he made that appearance.
