Former student charged with burglary at East Aurora
A 20-year-old Aurora man has been charged with burglary in connection with a Feb. 8 break-in at East Aurora High School, authorities said Thursday.
Police said Nigel Black of the 2000 block of Richard Street entered the school at 500 Tomcat Lane around 2:55 a.m., walked through the building and took a wallet worth $100 and a phone charger worth $10.
A school administrator who saw surveillance video from the burglary identified Black as a former student.
Black is being held in lieu of bond at the Kane County jail and police said additional charges have not been ruled out.
