Community Character Coalition Sponsors Youth Recognition

On the evening of March 13, 2018, the Community Character Coalition and the Village of Elk Grove Village will recognize area youth for their community service work. The recognition ceremony, to be held in the Village Boardroom at 7 p.m., will recognize youth who have displayed the Pillars of Citizenship and Caring, which are two of the Six Pillar of the CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition.

The youth being recognized will have displays presenting their service projects available for public viewing from 6-7 p.m. in Village Hall's lower level. At 7 p.m. the recognition will begin, as part of the regular March 13 Village Board meeting.

The public is invited to view the service projects and support the efforts of these outstanding young people in our community.
