Get tickets for 68th Kiwanis Pancake Day March 17

On Saturday, March 17, the Aurora and Fox Valley community are invited to the 68th Kiwanis Pancake Day from 7 a.m. to noon at Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Drive, north of Indian Trail in Aurora.

The Kiwanis Club of Aurora, now in its 102nd year, hosts this annual breakfast event to fund their work with children and the community. Last year, the club served some 1,400 breakfasts.

Kiwanis Club of Aurora President John Ross notes "I'm so happy for the continued community support of this outstanding event since 1951."

Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates $30,000, primarily to Aurora's youth. These donations occur through awarding of Kiwanis scholarships (managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley); subsidies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and baseball teams; help to area youth programs; and the sponsorship of clubs for youth at the elementary, high school and college levels.

Tickets for the breakfast may be purchased from Kiwanis Club of Aurora members with an advance cost of $6 for an individual or $7 at the door.
