EKG tests offered to Lake Zurich High students March 14

Lake Zurich High School students will be offered EKG tests courtesy of an organization named after a 20-year-old who died from a sudden cardiac arrest. The Max Schewitz Foundation will bring Screen for Teens to the school during PE and health classes March 14. All EKGs will be read by a physician, and free echocardiograms will be given to any student with an abnormal reading. The cost of the screening is $15 per student.
