Petite Opera Announces General Auditions for its November 2018 production Mar 17-24, 2018

Petite Opera Productions, a 501c3 non-profit professional company, will hold auditions for its 2018 Fall production on Saturday, March 17, Sunday, March 18, Tuesday, March 20, Saturday, March 24.

Productions under consideration are Mozart's Don Giovanni and Puccini's La Rondine.

Classically-trained adults (ages 18+) and teens (ages 15-18) are invited to send in their materials for consideration. All auditions will be held in Park Ridge, Illinois (a Chicago northwestern suburb), by appointment only. Casting preference is given to Chicago-area local adults and children. Housing is not provided.

Seeking adults (ages 18+) to play leading and featured roles. Also seeking adults (age 18+) or teens (ages 15-18) to perform as members of the chorus. Candidates should have strong, trained voices that can perform acoustically in a classical style (no body microphones will be used), good stage presence, strong character creation and movement, and ability to learn music quickly.

Deadline to submit audition materials: WED Mar 7.
