Elder abuse seminar set for Thursday in Waukegan

The Lake County state's attorney's office is hosting a training seminar titled "Detecting and Responding to Elder Abuse" from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Genesee Theater, 203 N Genesee St., Waukegan. The speakers include elder abuse expert Paul Greenwood of California. The seminar is for health care providers, social workers, first responders, nursing home administrators, attorneys, and anyone concerned about society's eldest members. Cost is $15.
