Christian Liberty's Castro scores 43 in finale

Christian Liberty Academy's boys basketball team dropped its Class 1A regional matchup with Chicago Manley 78-65 on Monday, but the Chargers and senior guard Jesse Castro did not go quietly.

Castro scored the 1,000th point of his career with a free throw in the second quarter - but he was far from finished. He ended up with 1,025 points after a 43-point performance which featured seven 3s and a 10-for-11 effort at the foul line.

Steve Ringstrand contributed 17 points and 8 rebounds for the Christian Liberty.
