The Assembly in Hoffman Estates celebrates 40 years

The Assembly American Bar & Cafe in Hoffman Estates invites longtime patrons and the community to a 40th anniversary celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The event at 2570 Hassell Road, at the corner of Barrington Road, will feature free appetizers, cake throughout the day and live music from 5 to 8 p.m.

Always a family-owned business, The Assembly was purchased from the original owner in 1995 by the Taylor family, who have maintained the same traditions since.
