Grains mostly higher, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery rose 5.80 cents at $4.63 a bushel; March corn was off 7 cents at $3.67 bushel; March oats was up 3.60 cents at $2.7660 a bushel while January soybeans gained 17.40 cents at $10.1660 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle was up .97 cent at $1.2760 a pound; January feeder cattle gained 1.23 cents at $1.4768 a pound; February lean hogs rose .15 cent at $.7340 a pound.
