Campton Hills residents sample Winter Wonders

The annual Winter Wonders in Campton Hills Saturday had something that's sometimes missing - lots of snow.

There were indoor and outdoor activities for all ages, including the Spirit Sled Demo Team, which performed sled demonstrations and then had their dogs available for people to meet. There were ice safety and rescue demonstrations, a nature scavenger hunt, winter tree walk and Pioneer storytelling.

The Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption in Maple Park had some of its horses from the rescue facility that people could meet.
