Huntley, Cary-Grove notch FVC wins

Bri Bower scored 12 points Friday night to lead the Huntley girls basketball team to a 35-30 Fox Valley Conference win over Prairie Ridge.

Kamsi Nwogu added 7 points for the Red Raiders (8-20, 5-11).

Cary-Grove 44, CL South 42: Maddie Janusch had 17 points and Katie Sowa added 15 for Cary-Grove (16-10, 10-5) in its FVC win. Lauren Schoen led Crystal Lake South (7-20, 2-14) with 17 points.
