Shoeless Joe's sports bar reopens in Rosemont

Shoeless Joe's Ale House & Grille in Rosemont reopened Friday afternoon after it had to close nearly three weeks ago because of plumbing and electrical issues in the basement.

Pipes had burst in the lower level and flooded the area with several inches of water, affecting the building's electrical systems and shutting down power to the upstairs bar on the northwest corner of Higgins and Mannheim roads.

Shoeless Joe's opened in Rosemont in 1989, followed by a second location in 2016 on Lake Street in Addison.
