Seniors power Grant's seventh straight win

On Senior Night, Grant's girls basketball team got its seventh win in a row and its 20th win of the season thanks in part to a couple of seniors.

Senior center Mallory Harrity pumped in a team-high 16 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 51-48 victory over visiting Crystal Lake South in nonconference play.

Senior Makiah Linbo added 9 points and junior sharpshooter Ally Mahinay chipped in with 12 points for Grant (20-7), on four 3-pointers.

Crystal Lake South drops to 7-16.
