Aurora Navy League to host program on money in politics

"Money, Politics & Democracy: You Aren't Getting What You Want" will be the topic on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Grandma's Table Restaurant, 1700 Douglas Road in Montgomery.

Blogger, leadership expert and entrepreneur Jack Altschuler will keynote the Aurora Navy League Council 247's monthly dinner meeting.

The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.

Altschuler will speak after a 5:15 p.m. reception and dinner at 6 p.m.

Dinner options include fish, chicken, or beef entrees, soup or salad, dinner rolls, vegetables, dessert and nonalcoholic drink.

The cost is $20. A dinner salad, $12, includes soup, dinner rolls, dessert, and nonalcoholic drink.

In a nonpartisan program, Altschuler will detail how big money infects politics, how individuals and the nation are affected and how to change the direction of America.

Altschuler has delivered hundreds of keynote presentations and leadership workshops focused on immediate best results. He writes a blog, www.JaxPolitix.com.

He has been a successful entrepreneur, an industry leader and association president. For more than 10 years he was a TEC/Vistage group chairman who facilitated groups of high performing CEOs.

He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Miami University (Ohio) and is involved in several philanthropic endeavors.
