Elk Grove Village bank robbed Friday afternoon

The TCF Bank branch in a Jewel-Osco store in Elk Grove Village was robbed at 5:01 p.m. Friday, according to the FBI.

The suspect is a white man, about 50 years old. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds. He wore a black cap, black sunglasses, a black scarf over his lower face, and a dark blue winter jacket.

It was a non-takeover robbery, but details such as whether he implied he had a weapon were not available Saturday morning.
