DGS tops Leyden

Downers Grove South's girls basketball team topped Leyden 47-37 in the West Suburban Gold on Thursday.

Junior guard Jasmine Igartua led the Eagles with 14 points, including four 3-pointers.

Westminster Christian 37, Christian Liberty 26: Christian Liberty was led by freshman Megan Ng (11 points) and sophomore Kelly Sullivan (9 points). Ng had three 3-pointers while Sullivan and junior Emma Wolke had one apiece.
