Palatine police investigating possible gang shooting

Palatine police are investigating what might have been a gang-related shooting about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 1300 block of North Rohlwing Road.

A 9-1-1 caller described hearing several "pops" near where some people were fighting. Police found evidence to confirm that gunshots were fired.

No injuries have been reported and, according to a news release issued Tuesday evening, investigators believe the fight was gang-related.
