Metropolis supporters raise a glass at fundraiser

Supporters of the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre raised a glass Saturday to support the downtown Arlington Heights venue's theatrical and arts education programs.

The theater's annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser included a number of wine samplings, hors d'oeuvres, music and raffles. Attendees went from table to table in the theater and lobby as they swirled glasses of red and white, provided by Tuscan Market & Wine Shop's distributors. They also got to take home souvenir wineglasses and wine bags.
