Hampshire upends Crystal Lake Central

Kelby Bannerman scored 13 points Saturday to lead the Hampshire girls basketball team to a 43-32 Fox Valley Conference win over Crystal Lake Central.

Lauren Herrmann added 12 points for the Whip-Purs (11-11, 6-5).

South Beloit 30, Westminster Christian 27: Elise Van Noord had 21 points to lead Westminster in this Northeastern Athletic Conference game. Grace Schmitt had 11 rebounds and Mica Glanzer 8 boards for the Warriors (5-12, 1-5).

Harvest Christian 56, Lanark Eastland 35: Alyssa Iverson scored 14 points and Elena Porreta had 10 to lead the Lions (21-4) to a nonconference win at the Lanark Eastland Shootout. Gracie Ozburn added 9 points for Harvest.
