Live4Lali announces new strategic plan

Arlington Heights-based Live4Lali has announced a new strategic plan running from this year to 2021 to address the addiction and overdose crisis in Illinois. Live4Lali has altered its four-point model to include education, peer-to-peer support, harm reduction and advocacy. Live4Lali's mission is to reduce stigma and prevent substance use disorder among individuals, families and communities. "When we talk about the opioid crisis across the state of Illinois, people are dumbfounded by the destruction. This overwhelming sense of numbness is due to a combination of hopelessness, frustration, anger and sadness," said Chelsea Laliberte, executive director and co-founder of Live4Lali.
