Two injured in crash on Northwest Highway in Barrington

Two people were injured in a crash Wednesday morning on Northwest Highway in Barrington, police said.

The highway was closed at Hillside Avenue while police and firefighters responded to the scene shortly before 6 a.m.

The drivers of the two vehicles involved were taken to the hospital, but further details about their injuries and the cause of the crash were not available Wednesday, Barrington Police Chief Dave Dorn said.
