Metropolis theater hosts wine fundraiser Jan. 20

Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights will host its annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser Saturday, Jan. 20, to benefit the nonprofit's theatrical and arts education programs.

The fundraiser, scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m., will include wine samplings from Tuscan Market & Wine Shop, hors d'oeuvres, music and raffle prizes. Tickets are $45 per person, available at metropolisarts.com or by calling (847) 577-2121. Raffle tickets for a New Orleans jazz and dining vacation package are also available for $50 each.
