Official opening for Libertyville ice rink Tuesday

Libertyville Mayor Terry Weppler and the village board will hold a ribbon-cutting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, to officially open a hockey rink at the Libertyville Sports Complex, 1950 N. Route 45 (Route 45 and Peterson Road).

The rink was relocated from the former Bolander Park, which was sold for a residential development. It is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
