'#Adulting' program at Aurora library teaches life skills to teens
The Aurora Public Library will offer a new program series designed to teach basic life skills to teens and young adults. The program series is titled "#Adulting: Life Skills for Teens."
This program series will begin with a session at the Eola Road Branch.
The focus for this session will be clothing skills. Attendees will learn how to sew a button, tie a tie, fold and iron, and other basic skills for keeping one's clothing clean and repaired.
Future sessions of this program series may include basic automotive skills, cooking skills, personal finance, and more. This series will occur quarterly.
"#Adulting: Life Skills for Teens" will be offered from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22 at the Eola Road Branch at 555 S. Eola Road, Aurora.
