Employment workshop Thursday at Palatine library

An employment workshop will take place Thursday, Jan. 4, at the Palatine Public Library District.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their lunch for the free adult program set from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Representatives from Illinois workNet will show how to set goals, use social media, get past applicant-tracking systems and interview effectively to land a job.
