FBI searching for suspect after bank robbery in Schaumburg

An unknown man robbed an MB Financial Bank in Schaumburg Tuesday afternoon.

According to the FBI, the man held up the bank at 1199 E. Higgins Road at 3:39 p.m.

Authorities described the suspect as a white man with facial hair between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He has a distinctive mole on the left side of his face. He was last seen wearing a black Burton brand jacket.

The FBI has offered a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to an arrest. They encourage anyone with information to call (312) 421-6700.
