Members sought for Long Grove commission

Long Grove is seeking volunteers to serve on the village's economic development commission created to improve and strengthen communication with local businesses. The group also will work to attract and retain business and foster development. Commissioners are appointed by Village President Bill Jacob with consent of the village board. The EDC will consist of three to five members serving three-year terms. Members must be a resident; owner of a commercial property in Long Grove; or, an owner, officer, or managing executive of a business or industry in the village. The group will meet monthly.
