Civility lost

Mentioning political correctness around Trump is sure to set off a barrage of tweets. Sometimes political correctness goes overboard in an effort to not offend anyone, but most of the time it simply means being polite and sympathetic. Being civil these days in the age of Trump has become difficult if not impossible because of the twitter outrages.

Trump takes umbrage over the smallest bit of criticism because his ego is so fragile. He can dish it out, but has a low tolerance for the return.

It is too bad that he, by example, has made good manners a thing of the past and out of fashion for a large segment of our population. He has always been the "relative" you can't take anywhere because he never misses a chance to be rude, insulting and juvenile in his behavior.

In short, he has made himself a worldwide embarrassment.
