Kaneland nips Sycamore

Rhett Espe had a team-high 11 points Friday night as the Kaneland boys basketball team held on to beat Sycamore 36-35 in a Northern Illinois Big XII East game.

The Knights moved to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play with the win.

Aurora Christian 62, Lisle 43: Jake Wolfe scored 20 points and Will Wolfe had 16 for the Eagles (8-0) in this nonconference win. Taaj Davis added 13 points for Aurora Christian.

Westminster Christian 71, IMSA 47: In the Northeastern Athletic Conference, Jordan Warrener hit for 25 points to lead the Warriors (8-1, 3-0) to the win. Ben Versluys added 16 points for Westminster and Chris King had 10.
