Navy band to perform in Waukegan

Navy Band Great Lakes is scheduled to play a Sounds of the Season concert at Waukegan High School's Brookside campus, 2325 Brookside Ave., Waukegan on Friday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. The annual holiday-themed concert focuses on encouraging high school students to pursue their musical talents, and to show the ban's local community support by providing a fun, family friendly celebration of the season. There will be a collection for Toys for Tots at the concert. To donate, bring an unwrapped toy. The 90-minute concert is free. Seasonal attire is encouraged.
