Aurora Central nabs win at Wilkie Classic

Kyle Cerzak hit for 21 points Saturday to lead the Aurora Central Catholic boys basketball team to a 65-48 win over Joliet Catholic in the final round of the Burney Wilkie Classic at Aurora Christian.

Cameron Kalmas added 14 points for the Chargers (1-2) and Jonas Cebulski had 11.

Cary-Grove 45, Prairie Ridge 33: Sam Carhart had 11 points and Addison West added 9 for Cary-Grove (4-1, 1-0) in this Fox Valley Conference game.

CL South 43, McHenry 40: Jonathan Holloway (17 points) and Matthew Reall (9) led Crystal Lake South (2-4, 1-0) to this FVC win.
