Super Bowl champ Otis Wilson to visit Naperville

He's mama's boy Otis, he's one of a kind - and now he's the author of an inside look at the Chicago Bears of the Super Bowl era.

Otis Wilson, the outside linebacker who was instrumental in the making of that legendary 1986 team, will share his new book, "If These Walls Could Talk: Chicago Bears," during an appearance at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave., Naperville.

This event will be a signing line only. You must purchase the book to reserve your place in line. Wilson will not sign memorabilia.

The Chicago Bears in the 1980s were an NFL powerhouse led by stars such as Walter Payton, Mike Singletary and Dan Hampton.

As anyone who's seen "The Super Bowl Shuffle" knows, they also were an unforgettable group of characters. and Wilson was right in the center of the action.

In his book, Wilson provides a closer look at the great moments and personalities that made the era legendary.

An intimidating pass rusher, Wilson had 10½ sacks for the 1986 Super Bowl champions. He finished his career with the L.A. Raiders in 1989 and was named to the All-Madden Century Team.
