Holiday Happenings Friday at Harmony Park in Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights' Harmony Park will host the sights and sounds of the holiday season Friday night with the annual Holiday Happenings event.

From 5 to 8 p.m. at the corner of Vail Avenue and Campbell Street, there will be horse-drawn sleigh rides, a reindeer, and petting zoo with goats and chickens. The Rolling Meadows High School Madrigal Singers and Arlingtones will perform musical selections. Organizers also plan to "make it snow" throughout the park.

Sweet T's Bakery and Cake Studio will offer treats and Elegante Cuisine from Metropolis Ballroom will serve hot chocolate and coffee.
