Book chat at Palatine library

An adult book discussion is set for 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Palatine Public Library District. The featured book will be "Homegoing" by Yaa Gyasi. It's the story of two half-sisters in 18th-century Ghana and seven generations of their descendants. Copies of the book are available at the first-floor reader assistance desk.
