What's behind support for tax plan?

How do we continue to let Peter Roskam's commercials air when they contain blatant lies? Lower class will get a tax break, middle class will be totally gutted. By removing our deductions for real estate, the housing market will be ripped apart, taking down electricians, carpenters, HVAC, plumbers - all the middle class workers that President Trump promised to protect and won the election by promising to protect.

Middle class is $50,000 to $150,000 a year. If you and your spouse make $35,000 to $70,000 a year, your taxes will go up (bigley). We will be double taxed on property and state income. What the Republicans are doing to the middle class is horrific. Illinois will spiral to the depths as did Detroit.

Why is Roskam promoting a bill that will really hurt his constituents? What's in it for him? That is the real story.
