Dundee-Crown, Burlington Central post wins

Gabe Bergeron had 15 points to lead a balanced scoring attack Wednesday as the Dundee-Crown boys basketball team defeated Rochelle 59-47 at the Strombom Thanksgiving tournament in Sycamore.

Jordan Hairston added 12 points for the Chargers (1-1) while Brad Stec had 11 and Jack Orndahl 8.

Burlington Central 59, Genoa-Kingston 51: Patrick Mayfield scored 21 points to lead the Rockets (2-0) to a win at the Strombom tournament. Caden Scott added 9 points and Jake Lenschow 8 for BC.

Streamwood 43, Metea Valley 40: Keenon Cole had 14 points to lead the Sabres (1-2) to a win at the Wheaton Academy tournament. Nikola Sinik added 9 points and Brendon Marton had 8 for Streamwood.
