Two charged in Beach Park robbery

Two people have been charged in a robbery at a Beach Park home this summer, officials said Friday.

The 20-year-old victim, who lives on the 12000 block of West Wadsworth Road, was robbed of electronics and other valuable by an adult and a juvenile on June 12, according to a news release from the Lake County sheriff's office. One of the suspects had a gun, which was later determined to be a BB gun, the release said.

After an investigation, Steven Bunch Jr., 20, of the 3000 block of Gabriel Ave., Zion, was taken into custody Nov. 14 and charged with aggravated robbery and theft, both felonies. He was taken to the Lake County jail, where he remains held on $75,000 bail. The other suspect was referred to juvenile court Oct. 13.
