Grains mixed, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 5 cents at $4.2640 a bushel; Dec corn gained 2.40 cents 3.39 a bushel; December oats was down 2.20 cents at $2.60 a bushel while Jan. soybeans gained 4.60 cents at $9.7660 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was down 10 cent at $1.1945 a pound; January feeder cattle was downup .68 cent at $1.5323 a pound; December lean hogs gained .35 cent at $.6045 a pound.
