Kane County judges share books with kids at Family Reading Night

The 19th annual Family Reading Night with the judges was held Wednesday in the law library at the Kane County Judicial Center in St. Charles.

Sixteenth Judicial Circuit judges Alice Tracy, Divya Sarang and Sandra Parga shared their favorite bedtime stories.

Kids were treated to snacks and drinks and balloons and took a tour of a courtroom and got to sit in a judge's chair.

Family Reading Night is an annual statewide event sponsored by Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White, and Illinois Center for the Book, which is affiliated with the state library and promotes reading, writing and author programs.
