Identify theft prevention seminar Nov. 14 in Lake Villa

A free identity theft prevention seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Lake Villa Township west campus, 37850 N. Route 59.

At the seminar, professionals from the Illinois Attorney General's office will show residents how to safeguard their credit card, Social Security and other sensitive information. Handouts, legislative brochures and refreshments also will be provided.
