Ellis flag comments don't reflect community

My mind cannot get around what Traci Ellis voiced in a direct quote published recently in the Daily Herald.

It's bad enough what she said, but also, very provocative, when one considers she is a school board member, elected to represent the entire educational and community interests.

This is how one unifies us? When one hears this type of speech, one might consider it a mistake of a young child who does not know any better.

Sadly, this woman is an educated adult who has totally disregarded what others sacrificed, so she could have a platform to express herself. Her comments as a school board member do a disservice to our community, and do not reflect what our community stands for.
