Used book sale in Palatine Nov. 17-19

Friends of the Palatine Public Library District plans a holiday used book sale from Nov. 17 to 19. Visitors will choose from like-new, donated items, including antique books, CDs, DVDs and more. Sale hours are: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17; 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18; and 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, when all items are half price. There will be free admission on all days. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Palatine library. The group funds summer and winter reading efforts, the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program and other projects that have included furniture and collections.
