Palatine Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, Community Showcase November 11 at Falcon Park Recreation Center
The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) is hosting its second annual Business Expo and Community Showcase from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Falcon Park Recreation Center, 2195 N. Hicks Road, in Palatine. Admission is free for attendees.
Due to the event taking place on Veteran's Day, a brief ceremony honoring veterans and active military personnel will begin at 10:30 a.m. Community members, in addition to veterans and members of the military, are invited to join and salute those who serve(d) our country.
More than 60 vendors will be showcasing products and services, along with entertainment and demonstrations throughout the day. Food will be available for purchase, along with a 50/50 cash raffle, raffle baskets and dozens of giveaways.
"This event allows the Chamber of Commerce to reinforce its main goal: connecting businesses and organizations to the community," said Steve Gaus, PACC director. "The local area has so many hidden gems and unique businesses that attendees will be able to discover at the Expo."
This family-friendly will feature a kids' entertainment area with balloon animals, face painting, crafts, a visit from the Palatine Historical Society mascot, Clayson the Family Dog, along with storytelling, interactive live animal shows, dance performances, and more.
Tickets for the 50/50 cash raffle are available now and can be purchased by contacting the PACC office at 847-359-7200; they will also be available at the event when the winner will be announced.
