Veteran Resource Guide to be Released at Chicagoland Expo

Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care will release a 116-page, comprehensive resource guide for veterans and their families Saturday, Nov. 4, at its 2017 Chicagoland Veterans Expo: Benefits and Opportunities for Veteran Families.

The expo will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Presence Resurrection Medical Center Marian Conference Center, 7435 W. Talcott Ave., Chicago.

Dignity Memorial provided 4,000 copies of the guide book, which also is available for download at www.RainbowHospice.org/We_Honor_Veterans.

The guide is written in an easy-to-follow format for veteran families seeking information about federal, state and local services. It offers information on public and private services, including medical centers, home improvement, pensions, financial assistance and bereavement support.

The expo will offer a variety of servcices, including free flu shots and resume services. More than 20 exhibitors offering services will be present.
