Household hazardous waste collection Saturday in Mundelein

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County's final household hazard waste collection event of the year will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Mundelein Metra station, 205 N. Archer Ave.

Aerosol products, antifreeze, motor oil, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, gasoline, fluorescent bulbs, oil-based paint and paint remover are among the accepted items. Latex paint, controlled substances and farm chemicals are among the items not accepted.
