3 firefighters fall through floor, escape serious injury

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities say three firefighters fell through a second-story floor while working to extinguish a fire at a vacant home in Indianapolis.
The fire department says the firefighters were slightly injured in the about 10-foot (3-meter) fall on Tuesday night. Other firefighters went inside and got them out.
The firefighters who fell where taken to a hospital for evaluation of injuries including back, elbow and foot pain as well as sight burns.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
